Bag o'Cat

Mommy wanted to type with both hands, but it was not easy while she was holding me, so she made this little sling. Did it work? About long enough for Daddy to take the picture. I like it a whole lot better when she sits on the edge of her chair and types, that leaves plenty of room for me to sit behind her (like I'm doing now).

First Doctor Visit

Today was my first doctor visit. All of the girls with white jackets made funny sounds when they saw me. It sounded like “Awwwwwww”. I hope I didn’t do anything wrong. One of the girls said I am now a member of the “Little Whiskers Club”. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds like fun. My Daddy took me into a little room, and let me out of that box he carried me in. I could tell this was not home, but I was not scared because my Daddy was with me.

Then a very tall man in a white coat came in. He made me a little nervous. He said his name was “Doctor Stewart”. He took my temperature, and squeezed me. Then he took me away from the little room and gave me some shots. I think the shots are to make me grow up big and strong. I think Daddy was surprised when he found out I am only 8 weeks old now, and not 10 weeks like he thought. The doctor said I am intelligent and intuitive. I hope those are good things. I like Doctor Stewart. And I think he likes me.

Full Moon Fever

Last night was my first “full moon” in my new home. Daddy said something about me turning into a “werekitten”. I don’t know what that is, but I hope it’s not bad. I think the full moon made me have more energy than normal. I was very excited about every little thing. My Daddy said I needed a “time-out” and he put me in my new Kitty Carrier. Daddy got my carrier for my first doctor appointment this Friday. He said it would come in handy when the moon is full. Here is a picture of me in time-out. I don’t think I like the full moon very much.

Hey Everybody!

Happy Monday Everybody!

My Mommy is helping me with my post today. I tried to do it by myself but when I crawled on the keyboard, it looked like this ;jirhgcvbedroy[i . She said that was so sweet, but quickly put me back down in the floor, where I decided chasing my tail, while constantly jingling my bell, would be much more fun.

My Daddy has been following me around with some crazy looking box with a big eye on the front of it, and although I was kinda unsure at first, I got used to it. For the 4th of July, Daddy was going to do somethin' called Photo Shop and make it look I was in front of a really big flag, but he and Mommy were too busy for it to happen. Since I'm only a baby, I'm not big enough to go to ceremonies, but I heard the big booms of fireworks and Mommy hugged me real tight and told me it was all OK, and I wasn't scared anymore.

Daddy wanted me to make sure that everyone clicked on this box with the picture on it. He said you can see how little and cute I am when you do.

Well, that's all from me today. Right now while Mommy is typing, I am running as fast as I can. I run so fast that my feet slide everywhere and I look really funny. I don't mind that they laugh at me. When I'm older I might, but now I'm just too happy and energetic to care.

Mommy and Daddy hope that you will come by and visit me all the time. If you let them know that you are interested, by following my new little blog, it will motivate them to keep you updated with new pictures.

Well, I have to go chew on the telephone book and bat my toys around. Hey, I hear cartoons, got to go real fast now. Hey, I just learned to crawl up and down Daddy's office chair!!!! Wow, this is fun! No wait, I want to run real fast again. No, wait, I need to go follow Daddy into the kitchen. Mommy says it's time for me to say Good Bye, so...

Bye for now!

My First Post

Hello Everybody...

My name is Amos Moses. I am a kitten. I am 10 weeks old. My daddy helped me set up this blog. He thinks I will have a lot to say as I get older. I have been so excited to be in my new home. I miss my brothers and sisters a little, but I am so happy to have such great parents now. I will try and keep you up on what's going on as I grow up to be the special cat I know I am destined to be.

I have a destiny, but first I must take a nap...
